Back from Our Travels March 1998

We are now back in our flat in Weymouth. Louise is completely brilliant and has started a job at St Andrews this week, lasting till the end of the Summer Holidays. I'm am still actively looking for a worth while occupation!

Well we finally made it back from our epic journey, after 6 months of backpacks, trains, buses and vans. Our final destination of South Africa was really great lots of wild life zebras, lions, giraffe etc. We both have wicked tans which are fading fast, unfortunately there aren't may places at this time of year in England to show it off. We are moving back to our flat in Weymouth as of the 1st of March or at least till we have jobs!! Louise's parents have just moved down the road from us in Weymouth (Not) to Newcastle Apon Tyne!!! which is where they are from originally. Still 7 hours in a car doesn't seem so bad after Australia. By estimates we probable drove around 12000 miles, and travelled 6000 miles on trains and buses!
